Hi All,
Quick question - how long does it take for AA to credit points/SC's to a QFF account on average, assuming the QFF number was on the AA booking?

For me, they usually post any time within 24-48 hours.

It has always taken 3 or 5 days for mine (for many flights over many years). BA always seems to post from sometime the day after the flight, and AA flights post from 3 days after to 5 days after. That's my experience anyway... YMMV!

Keep all your boarding passes until they do. I have had AA flights in A, F,P post as a mixture of discount Y, J and nada before . Faxed to QF and corrected promptly by them

OK so it sounds like if an AA flight tips you over to SG, before a return flight to Australia... there'd need to be a few days in between the AA flight and the QF flight to be able to use the J lounge in TBIT?

I had a very similar thing happen a few years ago - I was on 1390 SC's, flying DEN-LAX-MEL. The DEN-LAX on AA didn't post until well after the LAX-MEL flight, but seeing as the J vs F lounge in TBIT are not much different, I didn't care.
You could always try printing out your Account Summary from online, along with your AA itinerary (showing booking class), and AA BP, and explain your situation, and there is a chance they might let you in. Be ready to be refused if you do try, however.
If you really care about a few 1000 FF Points, when both flights have posted, if the AA flight posts after your QF one, I would recommend ringing QFF and getting them to change the status bonus points for each flight, so you rightfully get the 75% bonus for the longer QF leg instead of 50% (because it posted before you were SG). I did this in this same situation above, and the QFF agent was happy to fix it up for me.

Internal .us sectors = around 24 hours.
International departing / arriving .us sectors = between 48 and 72 hours.

Thanks for the responses everyone. So 2-3 business days appears to be the average.

Similar question...
I flew some AA flights (1 dom, 2 intl) 2.5 weeks ago on a OneWorld RTW fare and they've not posted to my QFF account yet. All the other flights posted within 2-3 days. How long should I wait before contacting Qantas to chase this down?

If it has been more than 14 days, I would suggest claiming now
