Other North & South America Frequent Flyer Programs - COPA bonus MileagePlus PQMs

Does anyone have experience (positive or negative) with COPA posting the 25% bonus premier qualifying miles into their Mileage Plus account? Especially post 3/3. My standard miles posted just fine after the flight(s). The terms say to wait 4-6 weeks, just curious whether to count them in my personal total or if it may be something that I'll have a hassle getting credited.

None of my flights in March or April posted, but the flight I took in late May did post after 2 weeks, which is like how it was pre 3/3.

I called and got no help on the phone. I was told to call United or email customer service. I haven't bothered with that yet.

All of the missing 25% bonus PQM from April/May posted last night, which was a nice 2,000 mile bump in my account.

It was magic - I had not contacted COPA or UA about the issue yet.

Same for my LAX-PUJ trip in late April--PQM just appeared in the last couple of days. About 2000 miles.

How long does it usually take for COPA to post miles? I'm asking as I have 4 pendings with them - I flew EZE-PTY-UIO on June 20, and UIO-PTY-MEX on June 23. I still havent received miles from any of those flights, not even the PTY-UIO that I took one week ago, from COPAs only hub. Is that normal?

I can tell you it's not the usual UA data collection process. My journeys were five days apart, and all four segments posted shortly after my return--about the same as UA segments would have posted for the return, but longer than "normal" for the outbound.

It varies...sometimes it is one week, others I have to fight for them! Last time it took me 2 months. Haven't flown them since although I will at some point. They just made me mad!

Typically, the base miles and regular bonus RDM for COPA will post in 7 to 14 days, and sometimes sooner. If it goes past 14 days, I would start to worry, but not until then.

It got a little glitchy after 3/3, but I haven't had any problems. I've flown 20 segments on COPA since then, and have been credited for all except the one I flew yesterday.

NOTE: I did have one strange thing happen, which I think was a COPA issue, not UA merger. Somehow, they added a "UA" to the end of my old One Pass number, and the system did not recognize it. I had to clear the MP# from my profile and resave it.

Same thing has happened to me on these 4 flights. UA was added to my FF number on all boarding passes as I linked the reservation made in Amadeus to my FF profile on CM website.
I guess I should not have done so, and just asked them to add it when checking in.

I still havent had any miles credited to my account, and as it has now been 15 days since I flew EZE-PTY-UIO, I will make a request from the UA website.
