Okay, I'm a FlyerTalk newb so go easy on me ;) I'm also not sure I'm posting to the correct forum/subforum. I used to travel a lot but after settling down, getting married and having kids, it's harder to get away.
Situation is, my eleven (11) year old has never been on an airplane. Shocking I know, but it is what it is. She has been begging Mommy and Daddy to take her on a flight anywhere and any time. She doesn't care where or when and neither do we.
Based on that, and the fact that it is truly a pleasure trip, I'm trying to find cheap roundtrip airfare from Nashville (BNA) to anywhere, any time. We don't have any miles to use so it will be a straight-up flight purchase. I read one post (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/budget-travel/912794-cheap-flights-anywhere.html) that mentioned Kayak Buzz and FareCompare but it's from early 2009. I've done some searching through forums and online tools but I'm not coming up with anything more up-to-date.
Since it's an open ended kind of request and isn't time sensitive, I would love to get opinions on tools, search methods, suggestions, ideas, anything on making her first flight a memorable one.
Thanks all!
