Hi, i knew just today this community.

I will go to US in October.

As you know i have a free time at the LAX airport, because i am going to Peru on Oct 15th, afternoon flight by Taca. So, If anybody around there, it will be fun.

I paid $250+$78 roundtrip LAX-LIM.

Have a good trip & that sounds like a good price. If you don't get a response this far out from October, I'd recommend bumping the thread in the week or so before October 14th. Also, in case no one is available to get together, there are some threads in the Los Angeles forum on things to do during layovers.

Probably i will coming from GTR(Columbus, MS), because there is no same day connecting flight.

I think Delta can combine check in for baggage to final destination. Hw about Taca? I have separate ticket by DL, TA.

Last time only Air France could not all the way threw baggabe check in. I do not know why they could not do that.

Since you're overnighting at LAX (not just connecting for a few hours), I'm guessing DL won't want to check your bags all the way through. If I were in your shoes, I would probably try to pick up my bags in LAX. That way, I know for sure that they in fact made it there from GTR, and that they made it to the TA check in desk.
