Hertz - How to use customer service coupons ($25)

I got four $25 Hertz coupons and will be using them on my reservation next month. It says to enter the PC code online and "present this coupon to Hertz when you pick up your car"
My question is.. does that mean I need to go back inside since I'm Gold? I generally just grab my car and contract and leave. Or.. can I give them the coupon upon return?
I've never had coupons like this so I have no clue. I'm usually writing in complimenting the service I received which I've done off and on for the past 5 years, but last year I had a really rude counter rep (and the car wasn't in great shape) in Vegas so I wrote in to complain and was given $100 worth of coupons.

What you have to do is PM me the code and mail me the coupon... jk :p

Found out something interesting... Even though I am PC, I have to go to the standard counter to get this voucher processed... Going to be a long day at LAS :rolleyes: just booked Full Size and will take a decent SUV this time hopefully

Dang. Thanks for taking the time to find a specific post, I REALLY appreciate that! Alright.. Guess I'll check out my car first and maybe try my luck with an upgrade since I'll be inside.
As far as the customer service coupon, they used to give them out fairly easily with a complaint but now I hear they're not as easy to get. Which is better in the end, because people who habitually complain to get $$ are making the rates higher for the rest of us.

I had a CS certificate once for $25, and every time I'd use it, the agent would make sure I have it and would return it to me. So I kept using it over and over for each rental until it expired :p

I often find a reason to complain to hertz to justify giving me these $25 coupons.
I had two CS coupons one $15 and one $25 and the return agent was able to process both of them. I guess YMMV

You can just present them upon return and they will subtract them from your bill.

I don't usually complain about Hertz but I have a HLE rental starting tomorrow so I called and they were supposed to call me back to confirm it plus pickup, but I haven't received a call back. My gf had a hell of a time getting a car from this HLE a year ago (I'm doing an insurance replacement rental, as was she) so we ended up at the airport. Knowing this, I made a res with the HLE and also at the airport just in case. At this point, it looks like I may end up at the airport instead since insurance rentals at the nearby HLEs are a hassle :td:. The excuse to my gf last year was "they're in a separate computer system" as to why they lost her res and then they didn't answer the phones ever.
We'll see. I intend to let Hertz know about this if the HLE just forgets about me. GEICO pairs up with Enterprise which I hate, so I chose Hertz. GEICO is footing the entire bill so I can go anywhere, but I like Hertz and wanted to give them the $!
On a side note, I just gave 10s across the board on the rental receipt survey I had out of LIH recently. Stellar location for me despite the bad reviews online.
