I liked the traditional Trachtenanzug that male LH F/A wear during the Octoberfest. Thinking of getting one for MrEX. Can someone help me and point me to a store/stores in the Munich area or other areas for a matter of fact?

There are dozens of places in Munich where you can do so. If you're looking for the specific LH one, then I suggest contacting LH.
If you want mail order, go here: http://www.alpen-lifestyle.de/24/46.html

Thanks for the link. Not interested in the specific LH one. Would you mind to share some of the "dozen" of places? I think physically trying is preferential to mail order.

Well if you want a nice one in very good quality and spend some money try Lodenfrey - http://www.lodenfrey.com/unternehmen/index.php
It's between Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz.
It's the kind of store where you buy once and keep it forever. Good service as well - just not cheap. But the real stuff and not some cheap looking "Landhausmode".
Keep away from Angermaier...
If you need more recomendations let me know. You have a car in Munich? There are some good recomendations around Munich. But you'd need a car.

I think they even sell them in the duty-free shopping section at MUC IIRC.

I don't live in Munich but when I go to visit, I pass by many of these shops. I am sorry that I can't provide any names.
Aside from doing what ChrisMuc suggests, I would just go and ask the next time you are in Munich.

Real stuff (venison leather, decent stiches etc etc) is very very expensive, and advisable only if you want to wear it 14-20 days a year. The place to go for such style and price is Londenfrey. If you just want to look 'german/bavarian', there are a ton of stores in Munich and every department store in the tourist areas even has a 'trachten' section.
