American Express Membership Rewards - Manual approval for AMEX - how much time?

I wanted to ask those of you who have experience with Amex an approval question. I applied for a Delta Plat AMEX along with a group of others in a churn. However, the AMEX app is still pending after 3 days. I called AMEX and they just say it is being reviewed and a decision has not been made yet. I asked if they needed anything more from me and they say no. I received the BA Chase Signature, Citi AA Visa Sig, Citi HHonors, and Barclay's Miles and More. I am not sure what it means when AMEX has not approved (or declined) my application yet.

I'd like to know how long a manual approval has taken for others and/or what your experience was. This would be my first AMEX if I get approved.

Figure on 7-10 days to complete the process, but it really depends on why it would be processed as a manual review. If you recently applied for those cards you mentioned it could be the reason for the manual review.

7-10 days is not unusual.
