Hey this seems the best place to ask a Sixt related question so thought I'd post my experience with a problem I'm having.
First off, I'd just like to say I only started using Sixt in the last 2 years and have used them for 3 rentals in that time(in Germany and Italy). The service, pricing and cars themselves have always been excellent so I was surprised to see an unexpected credit card charge from them after my last rental.
I had prepaid a car for collection at Rome Ciampano from 23/05/12 to 01/06/12 and paid €325 for myself and one additional driver- a quite competitive price at the time. This was charged to my card on 18/04/12 with no problem.
However my problem arises when I get home, and find another charge from Sixt dated 01/06/12 for €281 with the only description being "AUTONOLEGGIO SIXT FIUMICINO ITA".
I do not know what this charge is for and would certainly like a refund.
I have tried accessing the MySixt feature on sixt.com to view previous invoices and see if that will give more information, but it keeps coming back with "No invoices matching the details entered could be found."
I also wrote an email outlining my problem using the contact form on sixt.com, but I'm not sure if this worked as I received no confirmation email?
I wonder could anyone or the Sixt representative shed an light on this issue?
