Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Able to check in, not able to select exit row

I have UA ticket on LH and I am able to use the online check-in but I am not able to select an exit row seat in C.

The only think that I can think of is that I am well out of "23 hour" check in period, maybe these seats are not released yet. I don't understand why am I able to check in Online.

I see the seats on ExpertFlyer as open....

On my experience all tools don't show exact information, once checkin has started. Looks like seats inventory is moved to a different IT-system for check-in.

On some planes you cannot grep Exit-Row seats during online-checkin or maybe they are now even blocked for SEN/HON during online-checkin so better to be earlier at the airport and try to get there the Exit-Row seat.

Yes, if you fly in economy class and do not hold SEN/HON status card (*G does not qualify for this service, either);

No, if you are SEN/HON flying in economy; or a business class passenger, regardless of your status. However, some seats will indeed be available for assignment only at the airport.

On a side note, which row in Lufthansa business class is emergency exit?

I am flying on full fare business class. Row 27 on A380 in business is an exit row.
