Other North & South America Frequent Flyer Programs - Copa Airlines to start auctioning upgrades

Cannot reveal my sources, but I have seen screenshots.

Searched for threads on Flyertalk, and it looks like Emirates, Etihad, and perhaps others already have such a system, managed by Plusgrade.

Emirates doesn't auction upgrades. They offer them by email for a set price occasionally. The Etihad's system is also provided by PlusGrade. Wonder how this is going to work with the complimentary upgrades that Copa is offering for elites?
