EU-claim has seized multiple of KLM's accounts as KLM still 'owes some passengers some E3000.'
KLM is planning to take EU-claim to court as they find the measure to endanger their business operations.

Since when can a private company 'seize' access to bank accounts of another private company?
I generally like what EUClaim tries to do, but this seems kind of shady..

Since when can a private company 'seize' access to bank accounts of another private company? Why not? If a company owes you money and is not willing to pay up, one of the recourses in Dutch law is to seize one or more of their bank accounts. Perfectly legal.

Besides, KLM is a public company...unless AFKL has been delisted and taken private since the markets closed this evening. ;)

Luchtvaartnieuws.nl (http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/nl-NL/Article.cms/Airlines/Ombudsman_neemt_het_op_voor_vertraagde_passagiers) reports (in Dutch) that the national Ombudsman has urged the Dutch parliament to take steps to ensure that passengers receive the delay and cancelation compensation they are due. Even though the Transport Inspectorate is empowered in law to enforce the regulations on behalf of individual complainants, it keeps on refering them to the courts instead.
