Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - Booking tk flight in business class using egyptair plus miles

There is plenty of availability in business 'i' class on ana tool as well as direclty with tk on turkish airlines flights.

I would like to use the egyptair-plus miles to redeem this bookng.
The egyptair is unable to see any availability in their system.


Can someone help... I have already called tk and they are least helpful...

I'm afraid you have to take this up with Egyptair. You are using their miles and if their systems say no it's most likely no.

egypt air office in london says that they cannot book any redemption seat on TK or UA and few other *A carriers at the moment. This is accoroding to the genetleman in the UK office, who I was talking to, received a reply from the MS plus operation headoffice ( i presume in cairo). I am asked to contact MS at the end of August to see if their (MS) system is updated for the future availability. However, as of now it is not possible to book any redemption seat in any class, on any date on select *A carrier, such as TK and UA.

It is quite strange, considering the seat are available in X and Y classes on ANA tools.
