It would seem that after the Virgin Group pulled out, VK has taken a turn for the worse:

I flew Virgin Nigeria before Virgin pulled out of the venture but during that time and afterwards I normally flew Aero Contractors. They all made me a little nervous.

I'd happily fly (and have flown plenty of times) Air Nigeria or Aero without a second thought. Arik would take a second thought, but I'd fly them too. Dana would take a few more thoughts. That's where my line is drawn. IRS, Bellview/First Nation, etc... are absolute no-go areas.
