I connected in Istanbul between Turkish flights on different tickets. When I went to the transfer desk they scanned my luggage tags and said the bags would be sent to my final destination (MUC).
I'm in MUC now and no bags.
I spoke to the Lufthansa tracing desk and they put in a report. Online on the Lufthansa website says it's still tracing. I called Turkish as they have a voice contact on their website, but the guy on the phone said there was nothing he could really do just that on his system it said they were searching and the right department only interacted with email.
Turkish baggage tracking on their website doesn't recognize any of my information.
Is there any contact info for the baggage tracking department? I'd rather call vs. send the email and have it go into a black hole, I won't be in Munich very long and am worried about the luggage following behind me and not making it to me.
I'm 100% certain that it went out on the carousel in Istanbul so was free for anyone to take. Since they can't even find out where the last location was of the luggage 12 hours after the report and it should be sitting right there, it doesn't give me a great feeling about the likelihood of me getting it back.
