Hilton HHonors - HHONORS and SKYMILES for beach vacation

I would like to take my wife for a nice exotic beach vacation using HHONORS And SkyMiles. I see some good locations for HHONORS, but cannot get there via Delta. Can you guys help me with any suggestions for a great beach vacation using my points? We went to Grand Wailea Maui last year, which was great, but we are looking for something a little more remote. Any help would be great.

Where can you go using your delta miles? The carribean is obvious but you can use airfrance, so what about Mauritius, the Seychelles, South Africa, Thailand, etc. Of course, using miles getting to those places can be difficult. I think you need to decide where you can go with your miles and then look to see if there is a hilton you can use there.

French Polynesia! Use skymiles to book on Air Tahiti or Air France LAX-PPT (good luck finding low buckets to LAX if you're not from the area!), and use Hilton points to book at Hilton Bora Bora Nui / Hilton Moorea. There are extensive threads on FT on each of these.

My general advice: go look over on the Hilton forum to get ideas on where you might want to go and stay (Bora Bora, Mauritius, Koh Samui, etc.). Then see if you can construct a skymiles award ticket to that destination (or close enough). Best of luck!

There will be a new Hilton Beach resort in Puerto Vallarta later this year.

No one Hilton Hotel is Conrad in the Maldives. Most remote place I have been to. Its a great feeling being in th emiddle of nowhere.
