Mileage Run Deals - UA: JFK-TUS as low as $282 AI RT

This one comes and goes - and is back again. Good availability beginning in September thru December at $282 ai. $302 ai beginning in January thru EOS. A routing like JFK-IAD-SFO-TUS gets you in the sub $.04 per EQM range. An overnight is required.
There is also LGA-TUS fares starting at $279 ai RT. With a quick look I could not find any MR worthy routings using LGA only, but does provide some mix and match O/D flexibility. This one starts in August thru EOS; but with much thinner availability.
Not a world beating EQM value here, so any creative improvements would be much appreciated.

Did this run a couple times last year, once with a same day turn around and then another with an overnight, stayed at the 4 Points (nice hotel, really close to the airport).
Quick glance for September with an over night looks like LGA-IAH-SFO-TUS-LAX-IAD-LGA will get you the most miles for $289.

The 4 points has pretty good deals for AAA. Being PLT, you get a pretty good breakfast and within walking distance to the airport.
You could always rent a car and check out the Meet Rack, and go to the Buffet @ 6 am, or any of our other fine Dive Bars in town.

I booked it a couple days ago on United.com. First tried for a big multicity itin but it kept pricing with a K fare even though ITA kept showing wide open availability for G. So I split my days up and bought a ticket for Sept. 7 LGA-IAD-DEN-TUS and Sept. 8 ticket TUS-LAX-IAD-LGA. For some reason for Sept. 7 I had to search a one-way LGA-TUS to get times I wanted and then Sept. 8 I did a multicity itin.

i see LGA-ORD-SFO-TUS-LAX-EWR, 6284 with 500 mins, 280 flat, 4.46 CPM. not earth shattering, but another option i guess. september 8-9. this has the benefit of not having to fly on a work day for anyone that matters to.

Welcome to FT Wheatbackpenny! ^ :)
I think you're squeezing it for all it's worth... I personally would want to sleep for more than six hours, but I'm not sure if the segments would allow for that.
Otherwise, you've got yourself a decent MR there.

Please help I booked a same day turn around. Denver to Tuscon is flight UA6491 landing 12:28 pm
Return flight is only 1/2 hour latter at 12:58 pm flight UA6339 to LAX.
How can I tell if this is the same plane ? What happens if I miss it? If I explain this was a mileage run will I be flagged in the system?
This sames tricky. Any advice would be appreciated.

If not, the gates are right next to each other. Tucson is a small station. The weather usually cooperates, and there is enough cushion built into the flight times. If I booked it my concern level would be low, although tight connections are one of the cheap thrills of the hobby. :D
Thirty minutes must be a legal connection at TUS, otherwise you would not have been able to ticket it. It does not matter if you are on a mileage run or not (I call it a "quick turn" to airline personnel ;)) you are still on a valid ticket.
If things get mucked up UA will have to re-route you. Have alternatives worked out in advance. Same advice if you get to DEN and it is clear you can not make your TUS connection - have options prepared in advance to suggest to airline personnel. Learn the phrase trip in vain and how you might benefit from it.
More likely are future schedule changes which muck up the whole trip. At that point you can ask for a future flight credit; or re-work the itinerary for hopefully even greater EQM's, while keeping the same base fare. And in situations like this (and weather waivers) I have had success in getting the O/D station switched between LGA, JFK, and EWR.

Or spend a day and be at The Buffet at 11PM for Happy Minute [as I look at my mounted and framed The Buffet poster on my office wall]

It's likely the same plane. TUS is a pretty small airport; there's probably only a handful of UA flights/day (see below).
UA (presumably daily) flight schedule for TUS: Denver (4), Houston (2), Los Angeles (3), San Francisco (1)
