Miles and More is Lufthansa's Frequent Flyer Program. You likely won't need to show a card during rental, but if you are earning miles for another program, the PC you listed won't give you anything, as it's only good for Miles & More.

The best rate I get is with my Miles&More card but the miles credit goes to my Flying Blue account or Priority club never been an issue in 8+ years

Note I said PC, not CDP. A PC that gives you triple Miles & More miles will not do anything if you put a different FF in.
