Virgin Australia Velocity - Re-qualify date passed, but no downgrade

I've missed my re-qualification threshold for Velocity Gold. It expired on June 3rd but my account is still showing my status as Gold. Should I expect imminent downgrade? I needed 400 status credits to maintain and I only made 300. I've just got status matched to Etihad Guest Gold though.

I believe you get one month's grace. It should go down after that unless they comp you. Check the date on your card too.

I've just qualified for Etihad Guest Gold on a Status Match, so it's not really that much of an inconvenience. It's a pity I didn't get the double status points offer, because I should have qualified with that. I need to figure out what to do with all my DJ points now.

I was also matched. They announced 1000 were to be matched back in April I believe, and had people e-mail in with their credentials.

I've heard they're matching in batches, and some are still to go through, although that's just a rumour.

I got matched by Etihad according to the emails I now get from them. However, I haven't received a new card. Has any one received their new card from Etihad?

No, the EY card is valid for 2 years I think. I have yet to receive it though.

I got mine through the offer mentioned above. First 1,000 emails to EY.

I just received an email from EY saying that I will receive my card in the next 30 days.
