India-based Airlines - Houston IAH /Dallas DFW - Hyderabad,India HYD :Wifi airlines

Hi,
I will be flying this month end from Houston/Dallas to Hyderabad , India HYD - and want to fly on an airline that would have Wifi access - plus no connection in India . I always fly Emirates and love their ICE inflight entertainment , but they do not have Wifi access. I like to connect to the internet as I get really bored on long flights .

What flights to HYD have Wifi access ? The airline options I have are Emirates,Qatar and Etihad as all of these fly directly to HYD with no stop in India. I am not sure about Lufthansa - but their IFE absolutely sucks [ non existent really].

As far as I know, Emirates A380 planes have wifi access and the JFK- DXB Dubai 11pm flight is an A38o plane. So, that is a possibility I can consider. Fly from Houston/Dallas to JFK and then JFK-Dubai-HYD .

So , what do you all suggest or recommend ? Thanks .

i may be mistaken here but as per my knowledge no airline flying to india offers wi-fi on board....i would be happy to be proven wrong though....

I thought the Emirates flight from JFK-Dubai - the A380 plane - at 11.40pm daily - offers Wifi. I dont know if my question meant having Wifi all the way up to India. If so , sorry,my mistake.

Atleast the majority of the trip - up to the connection point like Dubai/Doha/Abudabi/Frankfurt . the last segment anyway will be 4 hrs max , so that is not an issue. But the first segment- almost 13 hrs long - that is my main concern. Thanks.

So, a follow up on my query. Emirates A380 has wifi. The other 700/770 Boeing planes do not. The JFK-DXB flight that departs at 11.40pm daily - is an A380 flight and has wifi. the morning flight does not have it.

Also, so the flights from DFW/IAH to DXB do not have it a sthey are Boeings.

So , what do you all suggest or recommend ? Thanks .
