According to the rumors :
One injured person, severely damaged plane, an ATR-42 belonging to OK, reg. OK-KFM.

Wow, not much left of that plane!
Its a miracle there is no damage to the surounding area and planes. In the picture it shows the wing of another and it *seems* pretty close to the fire (and unharmed).
Any news on what caused the fire? From the looks of it they were doing maintenance...perhaps something went wrong there..

That's a write-off.
It seems that there aren't casualties and only one injured person, that's good.
Not a good deal for OK, in their financial state...

No, I wasn't implying that at all, but it should be interesting to know if they had insurance for such events. Again, not that this a 'scheduled' incident...

Well that is what insurance is for right? If it was 'scheduled' insurance would not make sense ;)

The point was that if they have an insurance for fire during maintenance, for example...
