We have a late BA flight to Budapest on Sat July 7 staying at the Hilton Trafalgar. Should we go to LHR in the am check our luggage then grab the bus over to Windsor, main problem is we would have to take our carry on bags with us. Plan #2 would be to put all our stuff in storage at the hotel then be back in time to get to LHR by 1830 or so. Plan #3 ?

If its only carry-ons, you can leave them at Windsor Castle itself:

Take the train there (direct from London Waterloo, or one change from London Paddington), leave luggage, bus to Heathrow.

BA won't take your luggage early in the morning for your flight to Budapest.

You can leave your bags with the Excess Baggage Company's Left Luggage (http://www.left-baggage.co.uk/?__utma=1.915181389.1339306504.1339306504.13393065 04.1&__utmb=1.2.10.1339306504&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1339306504.1.1.utmcsr=google|utmccn=(orga nic)|utmcmd=organic|utmctr=(not%20provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=147422903)for 8.50GBP for 24 hours.

Plan #4.

A real points whore would find a dirt-cheap rate on a one-way rental car between London and LHR, and stack it with a code for double or triple miles. Leave the bags in the car, while you explore Windsor.

But failing that, I'd go with the Excess Baggage company. Try to pack so you have the smallest number of pieces possible - even if that means buying a giant holdall for 99p from a market stall in which to place three pieces of hand-luggage for the few hours you're leaving them at LHR.

Sounds like stut might have the best solution; take the train/tube to Windsor with our stuff, find a place to store our bags in Windsor then catch the bus over to LHR. We can't be the first visitors to Windsor who have luggage.
