per agent:
No more one-way awards, except when using exclusively BD
No more cash+miles
Only VS allows for combination with BD (which seems odd .. would think that BD/BA combo would be OK) ... all other awards must stick with a single carrier (ie, can't mix/match)
Don't know if awards within a partner can be combined to allow different classes of service (eg, C out and F return)
10,000 miles more on the EZE-LHR route than using Avios. :td:

Probably they want to encourage quick transition and closing of DC?

Although it implies that VS will be available post 3 July,or why change the chart now?

The spending miles table still includes miles + cash. Did the OP receive info that isn't on the website? (can easily happen).
I agree it only shows return ticket options, so we won't be able to guard against a change of plan for the return journey, which is unfortunate, but the miles required for a trip to Australia from Zone 1 are the same as they have always been, as far as I can see. Just need to find a carrier that can do that, of course!!! :(
Ah, that will be BA... using a lot more miles for Business Class :td: .

No more cash+miles
Was there cash+miles for non-Star Alliance partners? I was only interested in the Star Alliance chart and never checked other tables...

The miles and cash will be for bmi flights only (what is left of them) so the majority of the spending miles table is redundant
Partners are miles only

There wasn't cash and miles nor one-ways, just like now.

Anyone tried doing a BA booking within Europe? How are the YQ's? Like Avios or full on?
The ridiculous thing is the BMI Flights award chart, which lists awards for all these routes on which one cannot actually redeem awards. Oh well. I suppose we all knew this way coming.
Then there the aspirational redemptions - how about BA First for UK domestics for 27,000 miles. :D

That is ideal for those 744 flights down to LHR :p

Does anyone know why Australia isn't mentioned on bmi's redemption table for Qatar? They fly to Melbourne, and start Perth next month. Does it mean you can't redeem on this route with Qatar using DC miles?

Anyone tried doing a BA booking within Europe? How are the YQ's? Like Avios or full on?AFAIK, it is full YQs and taxes. OTOH, in the other direction, you only pay the standard reward flight saver amount for redemption on BD using BA miles (my partner did that last week for an LHR-BHD redemption). This makes European redemptions on BD cheaper with BAEC miles than with DC miles, except perhaps if you are gold and can benefit from the free upgrade. OTOH, it does not seem that you can fully combine domestics with BA flights to benefit from the free domestic segment as you can on BA metal dom flights. We tried making a BHD-LHR-VIE redemption on BD/BA but ba.com wanted to charge the sum of BHD-LHR and LHR-VIE. That should change once they are switched to BA flight numbers.

I can't find the redeem list for flights, are QR booking still possible?
Or can I only collect?
Looking for flight to MLE form Zone 1, but don't remember the Miles amount needed.
Thanks

That list you can't find can be easily found under 'Spending Miles' > 'Airline Partner Flights'

The partner award tables, listed in post no. 1, can only be accessed by clicking when not logged in.
Otherwise, you have to navigate to them as FOM suggests.

[url]...seems odd .. would think that BD/BA combo would be OK) ...Not odd. IMHO BA has done everything it can to avoid bringing in any BMI business to BA. They want to transfer the assets, not the business. Allowing a mix could allow obligations on BMI business to flow into BA. Which it seems they have structured to avoid at all costs.

Link worked for me now. Try without being logged in.
I see no good redemptions though.

Haven't been keeping track of it all recently, so I was just looking for a partner award chart to absolutely convince me that there is no reason to not transfer miles to Avios.
But the links here seem to be dead and no trace of one on flybmi.com. Has it all come to an end? I though there was still one for redeeming on BA at least .

Of course! How I've missed BD IT :p!
And now I understand what all those bits I 'skip read' above about not logging in were there for :(:(!
