Maybe it's been discussed so please feel free to point me in the right direction...

Being relatively new to the Southwest policy of being able to rebook your ticket if the fare has gone lower and get a refund for the difference... does this apply to using your points?

Thanks

Yes. I typically just cancel and book a new ticket because points are always refundable, even for WGA-based awards.

You can use the Change Reservation feature to do this in one step.

One other related question...
I paid the $10 for auto check in... what happens to that if I change my reservation?
Thanks again...

EBCI is technically "not refundable", but if you use the Change Reservation feature the EBCI should transfer to the new itinerary. My experience with that is mixed; sometime it does, sometimes it doesn't. If you cancel a reservation, you lose the EBCI and the $10.
