Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - Passenger Rights in Thailand?

Air Asia canceled my BKK-CMB which I have booked for a flight in September and has rebooked me on the same flight the next day.
Are there any Passenger Rights which I can use to force them to rebook me on another connection on the same day, even on another airline?

Look at Air Asia's CoC if you haven't already done so.

Did you take that directly from google translate?:p
What you posted refers to the lifetime of an object and that's not used in this case. Chart na... would be the term. I'll post the Thai script later from another computer.
OP: You're kinda screwed.
Edit: ชาติหน้า ตอนบ่ายๆ 'chat na dton bai': next life in the afternoon.

Yeah D: How embarrassing ! Wow I'm impressed, if I studied it for 20 years I still couldn't read Thai. Google translate comes up with some doozies. I should have known better. I had just read the most hilarious hotel review ever on Agoda translated from Japanese. For some reason I use the phrase "Chart Na" a lot in Thailand and it helps when I'm about to get 'the special farang price'. wj

This is typical Air Asia. Just be grateful that you arrive in one piece at some point. As for rights in Thailand - that is a joke - you'll get smiles and that is it. Don't get me wrong, I love Air Asia and I love Thailand, but you are well and truly hosed is my certain guess.
I see questions on flyertalk about 2 hour connections from Air Asia to an international flight and I am not sure whether to laugh or cry. Personally I would never leave less than 2 DAYS from an inward Air Asia connection in BKK to United or Delta for example. This is based on my personal experience of cancelled flights with absolutely no options for 6-24 hours. Rare, but it happens and when it does they look you in the face just daring you to complain.
And forget another airline - they don't even protect on their own connections - they call themselves a "point to point airline" - for which read "you are on your own partner if we are late and you miss a connection that you strung together yourself".
Like my Mom used to say - you get what you pay for in life and with Air Asia you pay dirt and you get a flight when it suits them. Which may not suit you of course. Looks like you are going a day late and enjoying some more food in BKK.
Bottom line is I have gotten tired of Air Asia and their ways - like the time they turned round half an hour out of Macao and refused point blank to explain why. Can you imagine that in the US? No neither can I. I have switched to Bangkok Airways. Yes, they are a little more expensive but they treat you well, give an extra 10kg checked luggage and have a free lounge for EVERYONE who signs up for their mileage program, serve great free meals, don't weigh your carry-on with a milligram set of scales, and are amazingly nice if you miss your flight. And when Air Asia are done with their nickel and diming on just about everything, the cost difference is minimal. ;)

I have had fairly good luck when Air Asia stopped flying their HKG-MES route last year. I had booked for this year. I picked out a HKG-KUL-MES and they changed it without charge, even though the pricing was 5x more than I had paid.
So, if they fly to CMB from KUL, or other fairly close cities, see what routes/times would work for you, and call them up. I called up to the Indonesian phone center, and had no problems. Of course I had to fly through the LCCT in KUL which is horrid.
Or, just ask for a refund. I realize that Air Asia is not the easiest to deal with. Some people love them, some hate them. I guess if you've been screwed by them, you won't be doing any commercials for them.

I fly AAsia a lot. I always leave a day or more leeway before my flight home. Waited at Krabi Airport for 7 hrs a few years back, before flight got cancelled and I missed flight back to States. Hell, UA just cancelled my PVG-SFO flight 6 weeks ago with 2 days warning when I was in the middle of nowhere (Koh Bulon). That one cost me some dough too. wj

Yes, but at least with UA, you have some chance at recourse through US consumer, legal, and/or DOT channels to be made whole again. Or at least some UA courtesy compensation such as miles, vouchers, etc. No such luck in Thailand or with AirAsia.
