SAS EuroBonus - Change fees

Hoping someone here can shed some light for me.
Booked a non-refundable ticket EWR-OSL, return BGO-OSL-EWR.
I need to change the return to SVG-OSL-EWR.
Price for BGO-OSL and SVG-OSL is the same for date in question.
It was my mistake, and I understand that I will pay a change fee, but the fee quoted was $400 US per ticket - which does seem - excessive.
Is this a case of agent roulette - where I just got someone who didn't know - or does SAS do things differently from US airlines, which normally charge $100 per ticket plus fare difference on non-refundable tickets.
The TATL flights are the cheap business class fare, if that changes the situation at all.
Thanks

Look up the fare rules (which the airlines in good ol Europe usually follow) and you will see that cheapo business on SAS has a 400$ change fee.

If it has been less than 24 hours since you booked your tickets you can cancel and rebook without being charged the change fee.

Lesson learned:
If you book discount business on SAS and return from a different city in Norway, probably best to book the domestic leg separately and see if SAS will link the PNRs afterward. Throwing away the domestic ticket (incredibly cheap, BTW) would have cost under 300 bucks for 3 of us. Now I'm stuck paying 1200 to fix my mistake.
The saving grace of all this is that SAS' cheapo business fare is about half what United States carriers wanted for the same itinerary, so I still end up ahead.
Thanks to all

You can book a one way ticket between BGO and SVG. The flight is only 35 minutes and they have multiples every day for as low as around $100. I would recommend flying to BGO the night before and staying at an airport hotel if this is possible for you.

For some nice scenery, you could take the express boat from Stavanger-Bergen, which costs around $65. It takes about 4 hours and also makes a stop at the Flesland pier, a close taxi ride to the airport.
