Hertz - Dailygetaways Hertz offer--points STILL have not posted. Anyone have advice?

Hello fellow FTers.

I am looking for advice.

I got in on the Hertz daily getaways promo. My card was charged, I have a receipt for the transaction. I waited and waited patiently...the confirmation email said wait 7 to 10 business days.

Called Hertz--they have NO clue about promotion (and I called 3 or 4 different reps). Called them again--still same answer. They said call amex.

i emailed dailygetaways twice--there's no number to call. FAQ site says: wait for 2 business days and you will get a response..waited for a week for each letter. NO response.

So, now i am asking amex travel--they (rightfully?) don't know either.

My other points from Dailygetaways posted in a few days.


This is becoming quite frustrating.

Anyone have similar experience or have advice?

Sorry to keep replying to myself.

I contacted the US Travel Association in D.C. and they took care of everything. I wanted to give props to the whole team over there--they were courteous, professional and genuinely nice.

So, problem solved. I am a happy camper

Glad to hear it worked out for you! It's a big promotion, can't believe both Amex and Dailygetaways dropped the ball there.
