I'm flying from India to Phuket this summer with a stop in Bangkok (via Bangkok Airways). Does anyone know if I would doing immigration/customs in Bangkok or Phuket?

Thanks!

You would clear Immigration in BKK, but clear Customs in HKT.

transpac is right. I flew ICN-BKK-CNX (Chiang Mai) in December 2011. Just look at the airport signs that says domestic transfer. You will go through a separate small immigration area and full body scanner (thought they only had those in the US??), and then off to domestic departures. I'm doing a similar route to yours (ICN-BKK-HKT) in October. Enjoy the trip!
