I'm planning on taking a Hertz rental car from Canada to the US and back.
On my Hertz profile, for both Canada and the US, I have accepted the extra insurance of loss damage waiver, and also liability insurance supplement for the US.
I will be making my reservation on line.
When collecting the vehicle, will I need to advise Hertz that I intend to take the car into the US during the rental period? Will the insurance automatically cover using the vehicle in the US, or will I need to pay further supplements in order to do this?
Any advice from 'those in the know' greatly appreciated.
