Qantas Frequent Flyer - Qantas F Lounge access

I will be traveling to Los Angeles in November with my 2 siblings. I am a OW emerald and know that I can get one guest into the international F lounge. Anyone know if they will let me bring in a 2nd guest or anyway of getting a complimentary pass for that person!

I recently travelled with 2 friends and a polite enquiry at the entrance got both of them in with me. I would imagine that travelling with siblings would be easier to ask for.

Can't speak for LAX but recently I was traveling with my friend and his wife (I'm plat, they have no status) and at MEL was not able to talk them into letting my second guest in. Had to use a pass. However, in HKG I was able to get them both in by notifying the desk staff that it was their 20th wedding anniversary and I wanted to treat them. I asked very politely and said I knew it was against policy but PLEASE, etc and the staff responded kindly.

F lounge passes can usually be found in CC (so I'm told, don't have access yet) or on Ebay.

When I've traveled with more than one family member, the general rule for OW Emerald has been one guest in F lounge or the immediate family traveling together in J lounge. Your choice.

I coincidently had a SYD-LHR departure on same day as a visiting relative(priest) who was departing SYD back to FCO but with MH. I kindly asked if I could invite him in after explaining he was a Vatican ambassador. They allowed it after calling F Lounge Manager. Perhaps they knew MH would be joining OW soon, or just good PR?

No doubt the lounge manager said "let 'em in - we need all the help we can get". :D

Do the check in agents have complimentary passes to the F lounge @ Sydney?
