Trip Reports - To Hong Kong on CX F, JL J, and JL F

Yes, this is another trip report about CX F on the LAX-HKG route. This time around, I came back to the LAX with Japan Airlines. This was my first experience with JAL's regional J and their amazing longhaul F product.

I've only flown JAL for three segments (two coming from this trip report), with each segment at a different class of service (Y/J/F). I've always had great experiences with JAL from top to bottom and on the ground to up in the air. Does JAL belong up there with the likes of CX, MH, SQ...?

Really a good trip report! i took the CX F from HKG to LAX in Mar, food is almost the same as yours. Service is excellent too!

I would like to give a try to JL F in the coming future.

Very jealous indeed.

Interesting note on the 2 different bottles of champagne being served. Usually most carriers would only every stock one... (I believe SQ has Krug and Dom or is it either one?)

I was originally scheduled to do a bkk-nrt-lax flight on JL First but chickened out and went back to CX F. Kinda wished i had tried it :(
