I honestly don't see any difference, both were nutritionally viable portions of meat and offal otherwise destined for an incinerator. The guests at both parties seem to know what they were eating.

If one was to describe to a visiting alien why it was unacceptable to consume protein from a willing donor but acceptable to take it forcefully by murdering an unwilling sentient creature there's no guarantee the visitor would agree with us. Still, I wouldn't. I can't get the idea of that deadly laughing sickness (kuru (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuru_(disease))) out of my mind, the one you get by eating human brains, I'd hate to be immortalised as the sole victim of something transmitted by eating 'that', no matter how unlikely.

Unfortunately the whole story is too fake. And after looking at the close-up pictures of the servings, this is all but confirmed.
