Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - LH-761 from Delhi to Frankfurt

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post at FT. I am flying from Delhi to Chicago this Fall with Lufthansa. Can someone tell me what in-flight entertainment can I expect from Lufthansa (it's very vague information on their website). Do they have personal TV for everyone? I am flying in the economy class.

Flight Number: Lh-761 and LH-430. Both are Boeing 747-400.

All Lufthansa's Airbus fleet has personal TV in Economy but only a little over one third of 747-400s currently have personal TV in Economy. It is not possible to tell in advance whether your flight will get one of the 747-400s with PTV in Economy.

Thanks @[NewbieRunner]. I cannot believe they do not have PTV for such a long journey. I am already regretting my decision to go for Lufthansa. Should have gone for Air India.

Both DEL and ORD are destinations to get the new 747-8i having the Panasonic IFE in all classes.
ORD sooner and DEL later, as far as i know. Unfortunately, an exact date is not released yet

Unfortunately, the LH flights in and out of DEL rarely have the personal TV. Over 20 flights in the last 2 years and I've never seen them in Coach. Sorry.

Thanks DelSen and Olip. I just hope that I have that luck to get the flight with P-TV , but this is weird :eek:. Air India even on domestic flights have P-TV :cool:.

Its a midnight departure, night flight, early FRA arrival, just get some sleep. You will need it later on your next leg
