Can you use it for prepaod data?
AFAIK you can use it on any prepaid offering they have. It only comes loaded with $3.33 credit. Buy it and arrange whichever you like either PAYG or monthly. Of course you'll need to get prepaid cards or refill PINs if you're going to use it.

There was a glitch in the system early this morning making these kits free. Sadly, The SlickDeals Effect shut it down quickly.

I ordered two last time (a month or two ago), and neither activation code worked. Called into customer service to get a new activation code and it still didn't work.
Ended up going to the store to get a new activation code from the store's stock. Bought two intending to use one immediately and one later, but my odds of getting a second working activation code in the future are probably slim to none.
I hope other people have better luck than me.
