InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - 20,000 PC points or 4000 miles promo

Be careful with this one. Don't book on the hype thinking you will get 20,000 PC points. You get 1000 PC points per stay, and you are allowed to get that 20x hence, 20,000 bonus.

I'm seeing a pattern here. The wording of the promo's lately doesn't seem to be...lets say, "accurate" IMHO.

My web confirmation page said I had registered for a double points promo from Q1 of this year. ... ? However, my email confirmation is OK.

I went into my account and hit "My Offer Status" and that is what is described there: "20,000 points or 4000 miles"

I think you may be talking about a different promo...

The website for the promotion is pretty clear in stating

From now until 3 September 2012, you can earn 1,000 bonus points or 200 bonus miles for every qualifying night you stay at any of our hotels. And you'll keep earning up to 20,000 points or 4,000 miles.

I registered and my confirmation email was entirely in Spanish.

Dave, I didn't know of any website. I got an email and when I registered I checked in "My Offer Status" and that is what it said. 20,000 points or 4000 miles.

mgmSteve, I got a confirmation email, and then I got a 2ND confirmation email for same - in JAPANESE!

I don't know what the advertising email said, but I would be surprised if it simply stated 20,000 points or implied that 1 night stay would accrue the maximum. The confirmation email just, ime, states the title of the promotion that you have enrolled into

The website http://www.priorityclub.com/hotels/us/en/global/offers/q212/emeaptsmls?promoCode=1587&offerId=p1587&cm_mmc=IMMerch-_-PC2_E_en-_-12MB2-_-Vanity_1000pointsqe

is what I was comparing against

Thanks. Then I stand corrected and I owe an "I'm sorry" to IHG. The website is accurate.

Only the description in "My Offer Status" is misleading, or at least to me.

But wait - that's not all. In addition to 20 goes at 1000 points per night, my invitation email says:

BONUS: Enjoy 250 bonus points per stay when you book through priorityclub.com or any of our branded Web sites**. When you book with us, you're guaranteed the best price or your first night is free.

I hope I'm not confusing two different offers (I'm half way through a 12 hour night shift) but when I got the email and went to the web page to opt in there was a little note on the right side that said an additional $25USD in food credit was included. No mention of this in the other material provided (registration confirmation, etc).

Did anyone else get/see this?

Is a stay on points, points break or 'points+cash' considered as a qualifying night/stay for this promotion? Thanks=)

No they are non qualifying

I doubt you'd get 1250 points per night. The promo says 1000 points per night and a bonus 250 points per stay.... IE. a 4 night stay would get you 4,250 points.

So far have had no problems with the postings: 18 nights and 18000 points posted as expected. Haven't booked online so can't speak for the extra 250.

I hate that "online" doesn't mean booking with your iphone app "online." I never get points with these types of promos when I book using my phone. That needs to be fixed in my opinion.

250 is per stay, and has only appeared for bookings checking out from 1 June for me
