I'm flying from MXP-BIO next week and have an IB-coded flight operated by Vueling.
Does that allow access for a OW Sapphire to lounges?
I wish IB did a better job explaining benefits!! :mad:
From the oneworld perspective:
oneworld Affiliate Airlines
* Air Nostrum
* Iberia Express

As to baggage, one forum has a reply to such a question about baggage with "Yo volé con Vueling a través de Iberia a Barcelona y Praga. Las Condiciones son las de Iberia. He comprado los billetes en la página web de iberia y las condiciones eran diferentes si lo hacía a través de vueling. No tuve problemas al facturar las maletas y no me exigieron nada.
Saludos"
Not definitve, as it's from a travel forum, but...

My BH got BA Silver and is travelling/ticketed on el cheapo Vueling (not IB but the flight has a codeshare IB number as well) from Barcelona to beautiful Palma.
Can you experts confirm any entitlement for (the BA Silver cardholder) to IB Lounges (also for a guest - her sister - on the same flight) or should they refer to Mac Donalds or something more sober ???
Thanks in advance for all your inputs.

As Vueling isn't oneworld member and BA hasn't published any info saying that one could access the lounge on Vueling flights, it's better to assume that you don't have access... Of course you could try...

I can confirm that BA Gold/Silver, etc. do NOT get IB lounge access on Vueling flights, even when booked with an IB flight number.
Have tried and failed in more than 1 IB lounge (including BCN) on a Vueling flight with my BA Gold card...
P.S. There is indeed a McDonalds and some other mediocre dining options at BCN...

That's a shame considering many Iberia's flights departing from BCN are operated by Vueling.
