Star Alliance - What can I get away with ?

A3 *Gold Flying out Eco with LH. How flexible will they be with Business check in, Priority boarding, Lounge etc considering we are a family of 4 ?

Not very flexible w the lounge (German precision :D )
Business check in should be no problem

LH don't really do priority boarding I,ve never really experienced priority boarding except in the USA, Some airports offer priority security
The great thing with LH is being able to checking and or bag drop at First Class star Gold counters this is great in MUC and ok in FRA

Maybe this is just an AC *G/E benefit and only in the MLL, but I thought that the rules allowed spouses and children to access the lounge as well as travel on the same benefits (baggage, check-in, boarding, etc).

*G get one guest in the lounge and can use the *G (LH First) checkin counter. Priority boarding does exist in FRA/MUC, the announcement in FRA is merrily ignored by all, in MUC most longhaul gates usually have a separate desk for F/C/*G.

Similar to AC, LH SENs can take their immediate family as guests into LH lounges, but *G cannot. I had a similar situation in IST last week, couldn't take my children into the TK lounge as LH*G on LH.

I've seen *G Boarding announced at the same time as Business Class on both ET and NH recently. This is all Intra-Asia, Intra-Africa, and Africa-Asia, no USA involved.

I've seen enforced priority boarding on LH flying out of AMS. GA that was scanning BPs turned back non-business and non *G. Only issue was getting through the swarm of people at the gate.
