Thailand - Unity bill pushed by House Speaker for discussion

For those of you in Thailand you've already heard about it the chaos, but for those not privy to Thai TV here's a write up:

Once again that one trick pony Jatuporn is at it:

Red shirt leader Jatuporn Prompan said the protests were about more than the bills, and accused their critics of trying to topple the Pheu Thai administration.

It's just going to get more interesting as this is pushed forward by the majority PT gov.

PAD protesters blocked Parliament yesterday causing cancellation of the agenda due to a lack of a quorum. House Speaker Somsak hasn't specified when the debate will be scheduled next.

Of course Jatuporn is once again heard to be warning of yet another coup attempt (his 385th such statement in the last 385 days... or something like that).

Well a broken clock is right twice a day. ;)

And it has been almost six years since the last coup. With 20 coup attempts in the last 100 years, we are overdue on the average. :p
