Fairmont President's Club - 2012 Welcome Package Arrived ..... on May 30

I was happy to see the arrival of my FPC 2012 kit in the mail yesterday. Like the bag tags, like the new card (old one is cracked) and lovely booklet and welcome letter. But it's odd getting this halfway through the year. I used several of the certificates I just received more than two months ago.

FPC packages in previous years also arrived much later in the year than FF and other hotel stuff I get. Any idea why Fairmont takes so long? Not whining ... just curious.

You are not alone, still awaiting welcome package in GTA. Having heard others had received packages several weeks ago, messaged the Plat desk to inquire.

FWIW, received a reply stating "All of the membership packages are late this year, as they revamped the membership packages." Furthermore, "certificates in the membership kit can be redeemed electronically by the hotels, so you don’t need the kit to use the certificates."

Also, confirmed my package had not been mailed yet but no ETA given.

On the positive side, my passions selections package arrived over a month ago. As a new FPC Plat, I was impressed with this unexpected box of gifts. For someone of my vintage, the Elvis book is quite a treat and the robe is nice, also. :)

Still haven't received my package yet. SF bay area here.

Wow - a few minutes ago I received an email from Fairmont welcoming me to FPC Platinum and stating "Please expect to receive your 2012 Platinum membership kit in 6-8 weeks". Let's see, I obtained the status in January, it's now mid June so I should have the package by mid August. This Platinum status sure is special!

To be honest, we haven't opened our Platinum packages that we received back in May yet. I'm so used to having and using electronic certificates, I haven't bothered to see what goodies are included in the package yet.

Btw.. has anyone received their robes yet? I haven't seen a package arrive yet since selecting robes as part of the Passion selections.

Robes arrived by mail a few weeks ago. Was a p/u at post office satellite depot.^

My robes were delivered to Calgary a few weeks ago.

Got mine before I got the kit .... around May holiday weekend if I remember correctly.

As did mine, including all the certificates, some for things I have already redeemed. (But the key still has me puzzled).

Never received mine either. :'(
