A good but fair review.
You mention the lounge food. I wouldn't feed those chicken meatball things to my dog. I saw the KL staff wheeling frozen boxes of them in expeditiously to the back of the lounge. Not only that the hotplate was clearly cold and I really doubt the health inspectors would be happy if they checked the temperature.
The food in the Crown Lounges is absolutely terrible...

What are you talking about? Sitting here right now in a crowded lounge and just had a serving of boiled (but cold) eggs in a brownish runny sauce and 4 cubes of cheese had it not been for the fighting masses cutting the queue grabbing whatever they could get hold off.
Joke aside, you are very right mon cher hugolover... The food offering is not tip top but it beats (i.e. The rolls with butter that is) what's served on the flights ;-)

In all seriousness, the crown lounge can be very pleasant with plenty of food options...but when it gets crowded, trouble starts. Your description is spot on what I often see when visiting in the evening around dinner time.
