Did anyone doubt it wouldn't come back? There's not much left to be enhanced away in terms of the LX SEN lounge catering.

It's also back at the GVA SEN lounge.

The "limted summer special" was not available today but Caramelita was worth every calorie. ;)

Didn't see it at the lounge, but Moevenpick was served TATL last week in C.

Plenty of "summer limited edition" in the D SEN lounge yesterday plus worringly some "winter limited edition" (Kirsch and cherry). I wonder how long the latter has been in the fridge? :eek:

Also had a very nice Movenpick mid-flight service recently. Love how they served scoops of ice cream in a cone instead of just handing out the same mini tubs used in the lounge like they used to.

Great news for Mövenpick ice cream only, a mediocre product from an even more mediocre company (fake luxury) from a country where mostly everything is mediocre and overpriced.

At least we Swiss are clever with marketing and brand building :D.

I agree with you, although I have to mention the wonderful (and only slightly overpriced) public transport system and ZRH, which is by far my favorite airport in Europe.

Anyway! I hope that ice-cream is also back in the C lounge or is it only SEN? Really missed it when I passed through ZRH the last time and it was around 30°C outside (and about 50°C in the new B/D glass jetbridges).

Basler Läckerli ("winter special") is proving a flop - half the fridge is full of them

Wide selection of flavors available yesterday afternoon. Tried Coco/Lemongrass, and it was yummy.

I didn't see any Basler Läckerli. Nor maple walnut - mrs clifford79 would not have been happy! :p

It's gone again - see you next Spring!

Summer must be here, as the ice-cream is back. The Basler is missing this time though.
