Hyatt Gold Passport - Are there any Gold Passport promos this summer?

I've been trying to see if there are any good GP promos this summer - but have had little luck. Only one I've seen is the air miles one and I'm more of a hotel points person.

Just thought I'd ask the experts.

So far no "quarterly" promo has been announced, which leaves me pretty disappointed as well. Business must be brisk even without the promos, as Hyatt has been increasingly paring back the incentives in the past 6-9 months.

Any "significant" promos that is run chain wide is and will be posted in the Promotions sticky at the top of the forum.

Just the air miles. I'm also disappointed, as I also want GP not air miles.

Hyatt is the only major not to have something!

Hilton has double points/miles. Marriott has mega bonus. SPG has that choice promo. IHG has some of its usual stackable promo codes. And even Carlson has that stupendous stay 1 get 1 on three of its brands!

Where exactly is Hyatt? Is business really that good?

Possibly -- they missed estimates last quarter but had a net earning of $10 million.

If they run continuous specials, they can't be special.

Exactly.

why run specials in the summer when most people are traveling? seems pretty obvious that the demand is there.

Disagree. I think business travel dips a bit over the summer due to vacations.... and it seems to me that business travel is where hotels make their money.

I guess you can argue whatever you want about Hyatt, but given that every other major hotel chain has various promos running during the summer, you are going to have to argue that Hyatt's business model is significantly different.

Why not quote the rest of my post? There's plenty of data showing that EVERY other major hotel chain has summer promos right now.

So do you have data to argue that Hyatt's business model is significantly different than say Hilton????
