Hertz - Changes to Car Hire Prices in Europe / France

Im currently living in Europe (France)

I on many weekends hire a car for 3 or 4 weekend days and benefit from great prices all the time thanks to my Amex Platinum Charge Card Discount Rate, i always use Hertz.

For example last week I hired a Mercedes B Class for 4 days on weekend for 115 Euros (I was upgraded to E Class for being Gold).

I have tried hire a car for this weekend and noticed prices have gone up, the same car now caost approx 40 Euros more for the weekend, I have checked a few more weekends and it is the same.

Can someone please advise is there a general increase in prices by Hertz?

is there any codes / offers to bring this down?

might be due to the weaker euro?

Could be but its quite a big rise!

Demand, currency, taxes, changes in CDP agreements, etc. There could be a hundred reasons why, it's a bit hard to compare different dates and expect similar prices.
