The nightly points rate is the same 38,000 points for a standard room, deluxe sea view, or junior suite. So, I booked the highest category - junior sea view. As we were celebrating a birthday, I had inquired about the possibility of an upgrade before arrival - we were upgraded to theSeaview Pool Villa. The property it's self is very nice - however, the location is not that great. There is not a lot going on around the property, and the beach was unusable as it was low tide. The room, had a entry way, large room with couch, desk, and bed. Between the bedroom and bathroom, was a walkway with hanging closets, opening to a large closet and bathroom. The doorway from the bathroom led out the outdoor shower, and the side of the private pool. The sliding doors from the bedroom led out to a couch, table and seating area, as well as the other side of the pool. The resort has happy hour from 5-7 pm, at the Pool Bar where drinks are buy one get one - we enjoyed a few wine spritzers and a delicious pizza. We had dinner at Azur - the upscale dining Japanese/Sea food restaurant. The lamb chops and pumpkin soup were amazing. For breakfast in the morning, ( we used e-standby, for a 50% discount) making breakfast only 392 baht. The selection was above average - and had a wide variety of everything from omelets, to fruit, to breads, and everything in between. We also had lunch at Edge by the pool. We used the main pool, in addition to the pool in our room, as the pool in the villa is partially covered by a roof, and we wanted to enjoy the sun. If you want to relax at the resort - this is a great property as you never have to leave, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel does have a free shuttle to Phuket Town - but, we never took advantage of that during our stay, as we were moving a few days later to Patong Beach. However, if you are looking for tons of activity near the hotel - this is not the location.
