Air New Zealand Air Points - What to do in SYD airport for 7hrs?

Hi there I have a connection time of 7hrs in SYD airport to Singapore as I leave AKL on an early morning flight. I can use both the Koru lounge in SYD airport or the SQ lounge but is there anything to do for that length of time in the terminal? I would have just completed a 2 week stay in SYD before that so the option of going into downtown SYD is not appealing. Any beds or rest corners in the Koru Lounge which I heard is one of the best star lounge in SYD airport?
Thanks for any suggestions!

As much as I like the airside facilities of SYD, I would struggle to want to stay airside for that amount of time.
The Koru Lounge is better than SQ but it really is not a place to stay and relax for that amount of time, unless you want to sit and do work.
It is all weather dependent but I would leave the airport, did you go to the Eastern Suburb beaches, do the Coogee to Bondi walk etc. If the weather is bad I guess the airport is no different than a shopping mall but not as interesting as a museum or art gallery.

SYD NZ lounge is great but won't hold up for 7 hours. You may get half an hour of fun fighting with the SQ lounge dragons for access but frankly your best bet is to pop into the city. Grab a nice brunch/lunch/dinner in Surry Hills to while away some time, take a walk and then clear a couple of hours in the lounge.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I've had some very pleasant runs down the side of Botany Bay with a layover of that length at SYD. If running isn't your thing, but you don't mind a decent walk there's a good 3 mile/5km walk (each way) over to Kyeemagh beach and then you can just carry on down the shores of Botany Bay as far as you like (at a decent clip that would be c 50 minutes to get to the beach).
There's a smartcarte in the international terminal arrivals level where you can check luggage. $8 for a small bag last time I was there.
The walk/run I recommend takes you over Marsh St heading out of the airport, then on a bike path under and alongside the M5 to Riverline Park (fantastic views of the crosswind runway and the longhaul daytime parking for planes). Wind you way down the creek a little further and you're on the shores of Botany Bay with a good view of the main N/S runway.
Google mapping the area will give you a better sense of what I'm talking about.
(edited to add): The running part requires a shower which the Koru Club has!

Day rooms at one of the nearby airports hotels and/or there's a massage place in T2 (domestic terminal) at SYD. It's post-security, but unlike in most other countries, non-departing pax can go into this area.

Or hop on the train and go into central Sydney - have had a pleasant breakfast and wander around Circular Quay / Opera House area in the past on a 6hr+ stopover
