Hi, this is my first post here. I will move it to another area if it's in the wrong place.

I will be flying regularly from Aberdeen (ABZ) to Kuala Lumpur International (KUL). I have a BA executive club account, Quantas frequent flyer and BMI diamond club account. I understand that from Aberdeen to London I will have the choice of BMI or BA however I can’t see a way of earning points on the London to KL leg (unless I join Enrich).
HOWEVER
I did a Skyscanner search for the route and it comes up with a flight on Sunday 24th June leaving ABZ at 06:15 to LHR (code BD671) with the connecting flight from LHR at 12:00 to KUL (code BD5703). Can I claim star alliance miles from this LHR to KUL route as the code BD5703? I then intend to transfer my BMI miles to BA executive club in July.
Another question:
Does anyone know if I collect miles on Enrich using Malaysia Airlines then if or when they become part of OneWorld I’ll be able to transfer those over?

Many thanks for all your help in advance. Very confused flyer!

As I understand, after 31 may any Star miles can not be posted on BMI. Just keep for future transfer to Avios.

Even if bmi were still in *A you would not have earnt miles.
Although it may have a bd number it is always the metal that counts.
With mh not being in *A there would have been no miles.
This is different to the way ba treats codeshare flights

Kep it simple.
Fly on Oneworld for all your flights. Credit to AVIOS.
Fly from Aberdeen to London on BA, fly to BKK or SIN on either BA or AY and then separate ticket to KUL. Or fly CX thru to KUL via HKG.

MH still not confirmed when they'll officially be part of OW yet.

You can't transfer miles from one programme to another.
