S.P.A.M. - Conga: Uber Car Service

Having just used this to head to DCA this morning, and not seeing a Conga on flyertalk, I thought I would post. Using a referral link gives $10 in credit to the referrer as well as $10 in credit to the individual signing up (after first use). Below is a synopsis of Uber from its website.

Also, for Amex users, if you use the code "RIDEUBERWITHAMEX" you get a $50 credit. I used the code and it showed up right away as having a $60 total credit in my account.

is there a way to sign up under your link as well as the amex 50$ promo? I'm only able to sign up under one promotion I believe.

I did this and added the amex promo after signing up. It added the additional $50 to the initial $10.

However that amount shows up in canadian $ and sees to be good for use in Toronto only.

I signed up using the link in the conga and then added the promo code from Amex and Linked my Amex card. I think the $50 is only good for Toronto and Vancouver. I'm going to NYC next month and I will report back if the credit works there. Planning to use it regardless because its easier than waiting for the hotel to get you a black car.

I also added the RIDEUBERWITHAMEX promotion. It's showing on my account, but is in CAD as someone pointed out.

I will be in Toronto so I think I will make good use of the $50. Thanks for the tip
