Here is the detailed review (http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g187849-d646332-on28-Radisson_Blu_Hotel_Milan-Milan_Lombardy.html#UR130790000).
Club Carlson add on: This was a 4 nights for the price of 2 reservation, for a standard room without breakfast. My Gold status was recognized at check in, as we were upgraded to a suite which included breakfast in the package. No welcome gift. One night giveaway points were credited the night after the stay.

Thanks for the short review. I will be staying at this property in August and booked it under the 2 for 1 rate.
The odd thing though is that a couple of days ago I received an email stating that I booked an award stay (no miles deducted so far) and all though this property has been upgraded (meaning getting more expensive), my old award price would be honored.
I have replied to them that I booked a regular paid stay, so far no answers. I have it all in email so no worries.
Will report back as well how much I liked the place. I am surprised to read though that it is far away from the city center. I had thought it was fairly downtown. Doesn't really matter to me though.

You take the train from city center to the hotel in 15 minutes and then a 5 minutes walk.
But take care restaurant and bar are well overpriced and in the area not so many other restaurants to go

Stayed here in May, room upgraded to nice jr-suite. I booked the room with a BRG and paid only 68€ incl breakfast. I agree the location is not good for tourist stuff but I needed to be in the area so it was perfect for me.

I'm here right now. Booked a deluxe room on a 2-4-1. I was upgraded to business class room with breakfast.
Strangely the executive lounge doesn't have any drinks or snacks. I called to enquire about this and was offered two free drinks and some nuts.
I was enjoying the lounge, so decided to go get a couple of drinks myself from the bar, as the hotel had been quite generous, but was staggered by the bill I got! 7 euros for a 30cl beer and 9 euros for an ordinary glass of wine!
Nice rooms, but too hot on summer. Good size though.

I was at this property in August and we stayed there on a 2 for 1 rate (105 Euros in total). We checked in very late Friday night and got an upgrade to a suite on the spot. (Concierge elite) There were fruits and water in the room, we (party of two) got free breakfast as well.
The suite was great, the bathroom was outstanding, especially for this price. The location is not the greatest, especially for tourists but if you know your way around, you are in downtown Milan within 15-20 minutes.
The hotel staff certainly knew about Club Carlson and elite benefits, they were super friendly and went out of their way to be of help!
I would absolutely return if I'd have business to take care of in Milan.

Off to Milan for some pre-christmas shopping in December and will be staying here. I'll let you know how it is (CC Gold).

Stayed in this hotel just after it changed to Radisson, one of the better Radisson properties in Europe IMO, it's only let down by the ratshit neighborhood it's in, there really is nothing around, no restaurants, just some crummy kebab joint and a local cafe which wasn't worth eating in. I was upgrade to a suit, the breakfast was also superb, one of the best.
