I was booking a domestic AF flight from afar. When entering the credit card number (with the complicated confirmation codes), it seemed accepted by the bank. But immediately I got the "systeme momentačment indisponible" (down). I can see the booking under my account but it says "en attente".
What should I do? redo a booking (but it could be a duplicate) or hope that it is done?
Quite frustrating. Please, do not tell me to call the IT call number from China.

Have patience - wait until you see that the transaction has failed before you put another one through (unless it was a fully flexible/fully cancellable flight). You will probably get your confirmation and e-ticket number in the next few hours.

Indeed, the booking disappeared the next day in my last of bookings.
So I tried again today and saw that the fare rose by 12€ on that specific flight. I did not wish to lose another 20 minutes (time and stress is valuable), so went to the easy booking. I could find a U2 flight for 40% less, including paid starbucks and sandwich, with a reliable booking engine and more comfortable seats.

Sad but by no mean surprising...
