Anyone else speculating a new First Class seat soon? Considering the current F seats are rather old compared to competitor airlines I feel they might be introducing one soon. Not only because the seat is old but also since the A350's and A380's will be joining the OZ fleet in a few years. Doesn't make sense to introduce a new seat after the new aircrafts join the fleet..
Curious to how the new seat would look like as well! :)

I flew F class on my ICN-FRA in March and after chatting to a head flight attendant about the F seats, he told me that they will be coming out with a new F class soon, possibly this year. He didnt know exactly when, but said the new F class seat will provide more privacy. Not sure how he knew this info. Who knows the truth behind what he said but he seemed very confident and assuring.

I would be more curious if they are going to reconfig more planes with QS C seats or not, given the small fleet they have, they should have done (at least on all 777 and 747) by now.
I suggest they focus on reconfig planes with QS seats first than getting new F seats, given how many years QS been out, but still only a few planes in the entire fleet has QS C seats.
The demand for F is low anyway compare with C, if not they wouldn't retire so many 74M all at once a few years ago and convert them into 744BCF, given all of those 74M were 3 classes.

+1 Especially since the new planes will most likely be configured with the QS seats anyways. Lame that QS is not offered on a majority of the routes.
