I have an upcoming trip to Colombo with 9W and was able to enter FF number for wife and self but there's not even an option to enter for my boys. Is calling 9W the only alternative to get the FF number in?

from their t&c:

3. Membership

3.1 Membership to the JetPrivilege programme is open only to individuals, who are above 12 years of age at the time of joining the programme.

if your boys are over 12 years old then call jp & get them to add the numbers....

Yeah, that's for JP. However, many of 9W's partners allow younger kids to register in their FFPs.

Exactly, the boys are 5 and 7 and both are AA Platinum. I'll call 9W to add it.

Thanks!

Thanks! Were you planning to collect miles on FF of another airline?

Thanks! Were you planning to collect miles on FF of another airline (whose membership is open to children below 12)? If so, you can still collect miles for your kids.

Yes I am and called 9W to add it, found kind of weird to have no place to put FF info for kids. Though I guess it makes sense since they don't allow anyone under 12 to join JP but then there are other partner airlines, in my case AA, where there's no age restriction.

Not a big deal just out of ordinary :-)
